: I am only 24. Female. Over the last year, I've had these things, attacks if you will, three of them, And had had one before that about 3 or more years ago. I always assumed that it was a terrible migraine. My vision went haywire. It was as if parts of my field of vision had just dissappeared, leaving what was left, indeciferable. My head hurt, but a wierd hurt, not like a headache. Now, last night, I had another one, but this one was accompanied by numbness on the right side of my face. And then numbness in my right hand. The hand was interesting. The numbness started at the tip of my right thumb, travelled up, and then it moved to all of my fingers thereafter, in order and on up into my hand, and then wrist and then this numbness went away. The right side of my brain hurts, I feel it's residual effects lingering. I have called a neurology dept. at a hostipla here, but it is sunday, and no one aswered the phones. I left a message, telling them to call me as soon as possible. I need advice, do these attacks sound like TIAs?

Please call 911 and get some immediate help before it is too late.
