I face with the same problem. My mother had a stroke in 1981. She is paralyzed on her right side. Now she can walk and speak. In all those years, I suffered a lot and I am still under great pressure. Although I am a graduate and have a good job, I still can not accept the fact that my mother had a stroke. I am looking for a stroke support group too.
