there is no clean cut answer to your question.
my stroke was in 92 I was only 42.
after being in coma 9 days it took maybe 3 weeks for me to even conceive this could happen to me.
as best I can remember it took about 3 months for the tingling and numbness to go away
it went one finger at a time then down my left leg,
my entire left side is still paralyzed. my speech wasn't affected other than having my jaw broken in 5 places.
I was crushed in a construction accident.

I'll try to help any way possible. just don't give up faith and hope I wasn't supposed to live through the night they told my wife everyday for 4 weeks.
