you might want to talk to peter brown who posted a stroke story a week or two ago who has a related condition to lupus - might give you more info. do you know where the stroke was specifically - that will affect information about effects.

depending on where you are, there are often stroke association and support groups who will have more information about the effects of stroke, but it depends on what specifically was involved. these groups are often found in phone book, and often hospitals, doctors or rehab. specialists know who and where they are.
