Recovery time after stroke.

I am a social worker who is also a stroke group facilitator. I have a few people in my group who are
wondering if there are people who are cont to recover lost abilities after about one year? Such as
strength returning. Feeling returning to affected areas. and so on. I would appreciate any and all
responses. Has anyone fully recovered from a stroke and how long did it take you? What types of
therapy did you use?
