I posted a message in Feb and I can't believe how many more younger stroke victims ( if we have to use that word) there are. I am always checking into the message board and I always sense a connection to each of the messages I read. Last time I wrote it was one month after my stroke. I am now approaching May 15th which will be the fourth month anniversary of my "Wake Up Call". I'm choosing to call my stroke just that. Yeah it was the worst thing I have ever gone through in my life. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. But I must find a bright side to it,. It's time to live right and think of the big picture. I certainly don't sweat the small stuff as I once did. I just want to tell people especially those that are just entering their stroke recovery journey. It does get better. There are still days that I feel like I had a stroke, I get a little foggy here and there. The days that I feel great , let me tell you they are the best. I just turned 28 and I was so thankful that I made it to my birthday. Thank you all for your stories they are inspirations!! Maybe we should all invest in the company who makes coumadin!! We'd be rich.. I can't wait until I'm off of that!! Best Health To You All !!!!
