Congratulation on your recovery. My stroke happened on both sides of my brain too (I had a blockage and a bleed), and I was told by the doctors (at least my parents told me this the other day; I'm surprised I remember what they told me) that I would never be my old self again (but, now I don't feel that bad because the other day I wen't to a concert, and am about to go to another one next month). I feel lucky that I am still alive and can do so much; but, I guess that is because of God and the fact that my church prayed for me. Now, I just can't wait until I go back to school/college, because am was supposed to graduate in a year or two. I have memory problems, even though the other day one of my professors emailed me a quiz and I got a B+ on it. My dad says I have problems with things that happened near the time of the stroke, but my long term memory seems to be fine (thank goodness, because I don't think that my school would give a degree to someone who had forgotten everything they learned). Once again, congratulation on your recovery (I hope that 1 day I will be able to say I recovered completely, too)
