: I was diagnosed with an AVM at 22. I had a shunt inserted in October of 97. January - August 98 I had 5 embolization procedures. On August 98 I had it removed. On February 1999 it was confirmed that it was 100% gone.
My son had embolizarion last wed. and Gamma Knife surgery on Friday. I would like to hear from you so that we will know if thing to expect, bad or good.
