: My wife had a madula stroke about 3 years ago that affected her vision and balance. A friend told me that she had seen a feature on one of the morning TV news shows about a new intensive exercise therapy for stroke survivors. It involved 6 hours of exercise a day for 3 to 4 weeks. Does anyone out there know about this therapy?

David, I didn't see the program, but have heard several people talk of it. It was for people who were affected w/weakness or paralysis. They strap the unaffected arm behind the back so it can't be used and then there is intensive therapy that makes the patient use the affected arm. I think there has been lots of people helped with the therapy. The therapy lasts for 6 weeks.
