My mother had a stroke (cerebral aneurism) a week ago Sunday and is still not conscious, but seems to be reaching for her breathing tubes and seems to be moving purposely (but is not responsive). (She seems to be trying to turn over, and her eyelids seem to be blinking, even though her eyes aren't open.) I understand that she may be in this state for weeks. I hope not. I would be interested in finding the stroke survivor stories that one person on the list has mentioned some months ago. I can't find it. Debbie: What you have sounds a lot like an inner ear infection I had 15 years ago (caused by a virus... it lasted for months.) I could be sitting at my desk and the room would spin! Still, I wouldn't hesitate to go to a doctor. (I know what you mean, though, I'm the same way about going to a doctor.)
