Has anyone had children after their stroke?

I am just wondering this because I am a young woman, and I hope to get married and have kids one day. As far as I know, I can still have kids. I wonder if I will be able to raise my kids right; I know that I can't right now (because my left hand is still messed up from where the doctor/nurse put the IV in the wrong spot, and I don't drive, or work).

I know one thing, I won't take the birth control pill anymore; that's what the doctors think caused my stroke.

I am so glad that I can finally swallow whole pills. Right now, I swallow my atenolol and an orange pill, without getting them crushed. I am also glad because I have finally moved back home to my apartment. After staying in rehab and staying with my parents, it feels good to be back home, finally. I haven't lived at home since September,1999 (although I did stay here when my sister was out of school for Spring Break, and I stayed here every weekend).

I am alse wondering if anyone's tracheotomy tube scar is gone. My doctor told me to start putting vitamin E cream on it, but I don't know if that will make it go away. I wish that this scar would go away because I think this is why I have a speech problem (but, I'd rather have this speech problem than not be able to talk; a problem I used to have).
