: : Hi, i am dutch, 40 (m)had 5 years ago a stroke (bleeding) witch left me paralysed on the left side. In a few months most of it came back. I walk funny now. My frustration is my fatigue. I am tired all day. However, I still have my job (manager at an insurancecompany)but now, five years later.... I seemed to have crashed, life has never been so hard, everything seems to be too much, is there anybody ho has the same experience and, more important, has recovered from it?? please e-mail me!!!

: What types of medication are you taking? If you are taking, for instance an antidepressant that is sedating, that will make a big difference -- maybe ask your doctor if there is one that won't be. Did you ask the dr? Also, maybe you could take some vitamins that would help. You do need lots of rest and sleep after you have a stroke also. Make sure you mention to the dr. that you are feeling much more tired than you used to. He should have some answers, but needs to know what is going on. Good luck! -Sandy
