: I hope that someone out there can help me. My father had a stroke on Sat. and I have been on a rollercoaster of emotions. He is doing pretty well by medical standards, but it is so hard dealing with seeing him so incapacitated/depressed/distressed/etc. I come home from the hospital and just cry because I can tell he is so disgusted and hurt by the whole thing. I try not to show my sadness in front of him or my mom. Has anyone here dealt with this shock of feelings and rollercoaster? I have really great supportive friends when it comes to everyday stuff, but none of them seem to be able to help me with this. Maybe it takes someone whose been there. : Please help me by sharing your expereinces with stroke in a loved one. It all happened so suddenly. It's like one moment everything is fine and boom the whole world is upside down. : Thanks. : Louise T. hi louise T. you didn't leave an address to write to but if yu would send me a note I might be able to help you I myself have suffered a sudden stroke write me to coldiron@delanet.com tomorrow will be my 8th year anniversary of my stroke I've been through about all of the emotions.Larry Coldiron
