MY MOTHER-IN-LAW HAD A STROKE LAST WEEK AND SO WE HAVE BEEN SURFING THE INTERNET FOR ANSWERS TO ALL OUR QUESTIONS.I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO ABOUT YOUR MOM'S PAIN, I'M SORRY. BUT THERE ARE WAYS TO HELP HER COMMUNICATE IE. C-VIC AND THE NEW VERSION C-SPEAK, WHICH ARE COMPUTER ASSISTED NON-VERBAL MEANS OF COMMUNICATION. THERE IS NEW RESEARCH REGARDING THE USE OF STEMCELL RESEARCH TO REACTIVATE THE DAMAGED PART OF HER BRAIN AND A RESEARCHER AT MASS GENERAL IS GIVING FIBROBLAST TO PATIENTS TO AID IN THE MULTIPLICATION AND REGENERATION OF DAMAGED BRAIN CELLS. I FOUND THIS AND MUCH MORE USING THE SEARCH ENGINE "NORTHERNLIGHT.COM" AND PUTTING IN STEMCELL AND STROKE IN THE SEARCH.BUT ANY SEARCH ENGINE WOULD WORK. THERE IS SO MUCH GOING ON, HAVE HOPE AND HIT THE BRICKS ON YOUR COMPUTER AND FIND OUT WHAT IS APPROPRIATE FOR YOUR MOM. GOOD LUCK AND IF I CAN HELP WITH ANYTHING, PLEASE WRITE.
