hi nona, how you manage financially i'm not sure but if my memory is right you must be unable to work for 12 months before you're eligible to collect ssdi. then it took about 7 months after that to start getting my checks but they are retroactive. hope this helps.Larry Coldiron coldiron@delanet.com
