: Can someone please interpret these results for me?
: tsh 2.4 (.35-5.5)
: t4 7.8 (4.5-12.)
: t3 uptake 25% (24-39)
Appears normal, but may not be for you.
My doctor wants a TSH to be at one.
You might ask for a trial of thyroid med.
Also, does your family have a resistence to converting T4 to T3? One needs a free T3 test for T3, but any test is not conclusive and can be false...one must go by symptoms. T3 uptake tells nothing important. Blood levels are not conclusive. There is no way to measure what gets in the cells, where thyroid hormone is converted and used.
Do you take selenium which is used to convert the T4?
Is it possible you are stressed other ways right now? Sleeping Ok or going thru menopause?
Have you listed all symptoms and handed that to your doctor? TF
