I had my thyroid removed in January because of a nodule with suspicious cancer cells. The cells turned
out to be cancerous and it took 2 surgeries to remove my entire thyroid. Since my surgery I find it very
hard to lose weight. I would like to lose 10-15 lbs. I am currently taking 150mg of Synthroid. My doctor
tells me that I look fine, but he doesn't give me any tips on how I should change my diet.
Does anyone know if my lack of thyroid is preventing me from dropping a few pounds? Or should I be
changing the way I eat because I don't have a thyroid. Any info would be helpful. Thanks a lot!!
