: A few weeks ago I had fine needle biopsies done on the right lobe of my thyroid because of a nodule. Before the procedure I was having some thyroid symptoms, but since the FBN I have been feeling a lot worse. Is this common? Thanks.
I've never had an FNA on my thyroid so I know this doesn't answer your question...but...whenever I've had them for breast lumps (of which I've had a few) my breast is always very sore and tender for a week or two afterwards, never is the lump sore or tender before.
So I wonder if it could be the same effect on the thyroid?
