: : : Hi,
: : : I am so glad for you!
: : : Do make sure to let us know what happens.

: : : I am VERY relieved to say that my endo appt. today was wonderful.
: : : My endo is Pat Ostrander at MedClinic in Sacramento, California.
: : : My TSH last week was at .99, down from the 5.6 at which I was incapacitated.

: : : She discussed my symptoms and how I had been doing on my med, agreed with me I needed just inbetween what I had taken and now am taking, and prescribed it. Then she said if my symptoms all go away except the mental fogginess, by the next three months, she will have me try some replacemnt of T3 for part of the T4 I take.
: : : I had been so nervous that she would not even try the T3, but she volunteered that information herself. having a great doctor makes all the difference. I almost feel guilty having such a great doctor. She is well worth the 2 and 1/2 hour round trip.TF

: : Hi Tree Frog,

: : Congrats on finding a good Doc! Hope you are going to list her at Mary Shomon's Top Doc site or is that where you found her?
: : I understand how you felt at a TSH of 5.6, I feel completely incapacitated when I get near 4 and can even feel a big difference going from 2.3 to 2.6.

: : Now I've got a question for you! Could you tell me how to post a follow up with a new title on this forum?

: : Thanks, Tina

: Hi Tina,
: Thanks for sharing my happiness with my endo.
: I did post her name on Mary Shoman's Top Doc list for others.
: I told Dr. Ostrander I put her name there, and she said no wonder I have been getting so many calls! I told her she is a rare find.

: Yes, I understand. TSH 2 is still way too high for me. I look forward to this dose to kick in.

: When you first open the Thyroid Board, at the top there is a message box. Use that one to begin a new subject.
: If you want to bring an old subject up to the top do it that way, too. Just post who it is to and they will see it. How are you doing? TF

Thanks TF,

I sure hope that new dose kicks in quickly for you! So very happy to see that you'd already put your doc in the Top Doc's list!!!
Yahoo! I do believe that someday this is going to affect the quality of Doctors out there. As they see some Doctors getting the lion's
share of business and then find that it's due to internet sharing! After all, they are business people first!!! *grin*

I'm doing so much better, thanks for asking! For me, Armour is a life saver! If I had had to stay on Snythroid and put up with the current
so called "normal" levels much longer, they would have to put me in a padded room. It wasn't living as far as I was concerned.

What I really wanted to know is how you changed the title in the middle of the thread, like you did here? Could be that I just didn't
understand what you said (brain fog although much improved isn't gone yet).
This humitity is taking it's toll on the old brain too, how is it up North (I'm in So. Calif.)

TIA, Tina

TIA, Tina
