cytomel...tina?

I read the thyroid solution. I finally got my doctor to test for low t-3. I had had unexplained depression for about a year. I also have pernicious anemia. He refused at first then tested it was 90 0n a scale of 80 to 200. He said it was normal. & months latyer he repeated the test. It was noe 75. This test was the total t-3. He started me on cytomel 5 mil. It is now 2 months later ny level is 145. I have read that it is not the tt-3 but the free t-3 that is more accurate. I don't know what to think. I don't know if its made a difference in my depression since I started on effexor about 6 weeks earlier than cytomel. I have had some bad headaches and ringing in my ears this week. I don't know what to do is it the combo of both meds, or too mush of one,,, and I don't think either doctor knows what the other is doing. what should I do.
