: I'm confused about who to talk to. Obviously, I would like to think thast the cytomel will be the answer to my depression. But is my endo doing the right test? Is it the trh or ft-3 instead of the tt-3. Also my tsh is 1.4 and my t-4 is in mid range. I thought according to the thyroid solution you should dose at 5mcg twice a day. And of course with the efforor I really won't know how effective the cytomel is by itself. Although I have only been on it 2 months I tried to reduce it from 75 to 35 and that was very bad, the side effects became overwhelming.. I will have to try this again with my dr. help. Does anyone have any answers for me about either med. thanks so much. In maine very few people are using the combined therapy..
Did you read my reply to your 1st post on the effexor? Have you seen or talked to your Doctor about it yet?? Please, see my message to you on your first post. We can discuss Cytomel or any thing else later. The ringing in your ears is listed as a serious side effect of effexor. Please , get ahold of your Doctor now if you are still having this side effect.
I'll be watching the board as close as I can for word from you on this. I've been worried all day and wanted to get back here sooner but it is my birthday and I had company over until a few minuets ago. But I will be checking in every half hour now! So please, after you talk to your Doctor, Let me know. We'll have plenty of time for discussions on T3 afterwards, ok?
