I posted a message here a couple of weeks ago about my test results which indicated hyperthyroidism. I got some good advice and support from you guys and I'm back to ask for more! I got a referral to an Endo, who I met with last week. He has scheduled a radioactive iodine uptake scan for this Wednesday to figure out whether I have Graves or some other thyroidits.
Yesterday morning I woke up and found a pea sized hard lump right in the middle of my neck. It wasn't there the day before and is very visible. I had feelings of pressure in my neck all day. Today it is the same, but I had a violent vomitting fit about two hours ago, along with tremors so bad that my knees kept buckling. Does anyone know what is going on with me?? All kinds of terrible thoughts are crossing my mind! I don't want to over-react but this is scaring the you-know-what out of me! I am going to call my Endo tomorrow morning, but untill then, if anyone out there knows what this could be I'd love to know.
I have also developed some kind of patchy rash on my neck and sternum over the past week. I have a little mole on the end of my collar bone which has become rough and inflamed. What is going on??
