Hi! I have had thyroid problems for about 2 1/2 years. I had a subtotal partial thryoidectomy about 2 years ago. My question is, can I take any kind of diet aid without it throwing my thyroid (Well what's left of it) into shock? Has anyone taken any kind of diet pill while being on thyroid hormone replacement such as Synthroid and if so any side effects? Any advice would be appreciated.
My thyroid has been stable now for about 1 year and I don't want to throw it off, but I need help losing weight. Thanks!
