Has anyone ever heard of having a low body temp in the morning (97.2 - 98.2) and then in afternoon and evening having a low grade fever (99.2 - 100)? This has been happening every day for a few months. No comment from the doctors I have seen. I am on synthroid. I have had to have my dosage reduced twice in the past 4 months. Prior to this I was on the same dosage for 12 years. Also, I am wondering about the possibility of either carotidynia or vasculitis. A week after my first synthroid reduction, I woke up to severe swelling (eyes were slits) and a very swollen carotid artery that aches. It gets rather large at times and resembles a sggy or deflated balloon at times. Has ANYONE heard of any of these symptoms? I do have nodules again. (Have had thyroid surgery twice). Any info would be helpful. The endo says "see a Neuro". The Neuro says "see an endo". They both overlook the swollen carotids and the daily PM fevers. Please Help!! Thanks, T. Lynn
