: my doctor did a thyroid test on me last spring, because i was run down, freezing all the time, hair falling out, and he said it was ok. now in the last few months my voice has started changing, like it is sratchy sounding, like it is getting lower, but it doesn't hurt. people keep asking if i have a sore throat. i also suffer from fibromyalgia.
: whats going on with me?
Hi Kat,
First ask your Doctor for copies of the tests that he ran last spring also make an appointment to have them run again and make sure he/she runs tests for thyroid antibodies if they weren't run last time. Then let us know what the numbers are, also include the labs normal ranges as they differ a bit from lab to lab.
Your symptoms, including fibromyalgia, are symptoms of hypothyroid.
Please read this interview, it will explain more about the connection.

Let us know what the lab results from the spring were, ok?
Hope to hear from you soon, Tina
