: Hi there from Singapore !

: I have been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease affecting the thyroid. I am taking daily
: thyroxine but being very much interested in alternative healing, I would appreciate your
: help in suggesting any place, India or elsewhere where I can stay for a certain period and
: undergo alternative healing therapies.

: A friend of mine suggested remedial yoga or Ayurveda. Any help appreciated.

: Best regards.

I also have Hashimoto's and wanted to try alternative medicine first...my recommendation to you is to just take the Armour or Synthroid, whichever is prescribed...With the autoimmune problem, you will only exacerbate your problem by trying to "heal" it with natural medicines...ask me how I know! After fiddling with homeopathic thyroxine my hair started falling out and hasn't stopped yet...and after all the other things, kelp, iodine, and you name it, I felt 10 times worse...I wish I'd just have avoided all that, because I think I created more problems for myself...Hashimoto's just isn't something you can mess with and there seems to be no "cure" as hard as that is for me to accept, because I'm really good at curing alot of little things with homeopathics...save yourself the misery and just do what the doctor says...good luck
