Has anyone tried T3 with Synthroid? Or switching from Synthroid to Armour

Can't seem to get my Thyroid stabilized, was diagnosed with Hasi's about 20 years ago and have always been tired, cold and no energy. I go to my MD on Wed and am considering asking for the new T3 along with Synthroid or switching to Armour. Has anyone done this? Or does anyone have any advise on anything to do other than doseage change to get my TSH under control.
