tsh is 7.44 but i feel pretty good.

well i got my third tsh done today. it is 7.44, the last one was 7.5 the one before that was 8.0. i was hoping that is would come down even more but it didn't so i guess it is going to stay that way for a while. the thing is that i don't feel bad at all! i have insomnia, some muscle tension, like my muscle's tightening up on me but i don't know if it's just anxiety or stress or what. i have some restlessness too, but i don't know how much is perimenopause and how much is thyroid. my antibodies are sky high but have been for years now and my tsh has always been at about 4.0 and below 5.5 until about two months ago. so why do i feel fine? my dr. is letting me decide when to start the synthroid, and i don't know when i will. any advise?
