Sorry it took so long for me to answer, i have been feeling so sick. I just lay down alot. I took blood tests of my thyroid 2 days ago, and next week will know the results. Then i can post them...i was told i had slightly low thyroid before this doctor i just went to....but the doctor wont give me anything, and i was wondering if a natural like kelp would help? I feel tired all the time, nausea, and gas,bloating/burping...does this have anything to do with thyroid?

: Hi!
: I know the frustration!
: One thing you could do is pay out of pocket to a licensed naturopath, who would be willing to try Armour on you. But you need to understand hyperthyoidism to be sure you don't harm (or kill)yourself thru over-medicaton. You would need to watch for the symptoms yourself.

: However, it may not be that the docs are stupid, as we have to know how to work with them. If you share more some of us can provide feedback to help you sort through this, and help you figure out what you needto do.

: I went undiagnosed for years, until I finally understood what test I, and I wish I could underline I, needed, to reveal my need of thyroid med. After changing doctors and medical groups several times, I finally have a great medical endo that works with me. It took me a long time to get here, though, and a lot of prayer.

: Try to relax, as getting proper diagnosis takes time, and knowledge on YOUR part, as well. The stress is a vicious circle that only adds to the lack of well-being, and actually stresses the thyroid!

: Take a deep breath and let's work on this.
: OK?
: Ready? : )

: First of all you need copies of your labs. Share the lab results with us, and we will share our understanding, and offer suggestions, and go from there. TF
