About six months ago, I was checked for my thyroid. I am not sure what made my doctor do that, however
she did. It has come back very active. My doctor showed great concern, at the start. However I have not
symptons of having hyperactive-thyroid. During the last six months I have lost about six pounds, however I have
always wanted to loose a few pounds. I go for test every two months to check my levels. No change.
They did find a lump on my thyroid and sent me for an ultrasound but that came up nothing.
My question is, should I be worried, or is there something I can do to prevent symptons. When I first
found out I did lots of ready, but nothing ever said about prevention. Oh yes, there is no thyroid
problems in my family till me.

I would like any information.
thank you

Wendy
