: : : I just got a copy of my blood tests. They say TSH 3rd Gen - L0.37 [0.46-4.68]. I think the number in brackets indicates the normal level. The doctor does not seem to think it is that bad. I have only seen a general practitioner at this time, but I wonder if this is an indication of hypo thyroidism or hyper thyroidism. I have all the symptoms of hypo: fatigue, lack of concentration, memory problems, lack of libido, so on and so on and so on. I read the article about undertreated hypothyroidism and got the impression that my level indicates hyper thyroid. Can any one give me a clue?
: : : Thanks for any information at all!

: : yes, your reading indicates hyperthyroid. Do you suffer from anxiety and depression? I had all those symptoms and got much better after taking anti-deprassants.

:
: It wouldn't be a bad idea for you to see an endocrinologist that will help you. they might feel you need further thyroid testing to make sure what's going on. maybe you're on the verge of going more hyper than you are and if you're having symptoms, then it is a big deal. Please keep up with it and don't let the doctor shrug this off
: Good luck
: Lynne W

Just wanted to thank you guys for your input. I have an appointment with an endo the second week in October. I will let you know how it goes.
