Does anyone have any recommendations for birth control when dealing with hypothyroidism? I'm thinking along the lines of the pill or depo provera, but the little information I've found (mostly anecdotal and not directly applicable) makes me nervous about further weight gain and lethargy. It's pretty important that I find some consistently effective method of birth control, but I was only diagnosed hypothyroid 4 months ago and am still working out the right dose of levothyroid. Any help would be appreciated.
