I found out about 2 years ago ( after the birth of my daughter) that I had hypothyroidism. It the doctor did not give me any medicine just that she would keep a eye on it.
It wasn't until this yr when I got another doctor that he started me on synthroid 0.1 mg. I have told him numberous times that I have problems swallowing and losing weight
For the swallowing he had me take a CAT scan and it showed nothing other than cold in my throat ( I still smoke) . He thought that there was a chance that I had a goiter
growing under the collarbone but it wasn't. He had me take Prilosec because it thought possibly I was having problems with my stomach if I wasn't swallowing. The problem gotten
so bad that I cannot eat. Whenever I do eat it comes right back up and for the weight I have tried decreasing my calories and that does not help. Currently my weight is at 180.
Before I had my daughter my weight was at 134 . Can someone help.
