: Hi!
: I empathize! You may as well get yourself settled down and relaxed, and don't be anxious for the diagnosis or the solution...it can be a long process.
: I just encourage you to read all you can and get yourself educated, as it seems with thyroid we have to be our own health advocate to a great degree. About.com/thyroid has lots of very intresting archived articles and scientific research having to do with thyroid and related matters such as adrenals, pituitary, other glands and hormones.
: Let us know how you are doing. You can get great support from people at this board. It has been a huge help to me, a year ago when I was just discovering my thyroid problem (hypo). TF
thanks tree frog, Most of the time i just ignore my problems but like i said i have been dealing with this for over 20 years, and usually i take a nap and then i feel better but lately i cant seem to take a nap (over tired) and i need to start working full time(high med bills) and i cant work for longer than 5 or 6 hours with out getting all the bad symptoms! i guess i have waited all these years, whats another year or so gonna hurt, right?
i guess i always thought that i had mitralvalve prolapse and since that was ruled out i am eager to find out what it is! i am just sick of having fatigue and mental fog rule my life as so do many other people! but thanks for responding--i really appreciate it! but one last question---is one of the main symptoms of thyroid problems this---when overtired your heart feels like it is up in your throat, your ears ring and your heart is beating fast, like you just got a mega dose of adrenal?
feeling of wired but tired??? thanks again!!! and good luck to all!!!
