I have my med and other supplements in a weekly pill container near the sink, and see it every morning. Then most of the time i remember. It is important to take it regularly, but if you miss occasionally, you likely have enough thyroid in the cells to get by...but not often.
But thyroid med is best taken on an empty stomach, one hour before eating, and never with milk or calcium, as it binds and is not digested well. There are other foods that interfere also.
Watch out for hidden calcium added to orange juice and other foods. I am concerned that you were told to take it AT breakfast.
