Am I the only one that wants to get this thing cut out of my throat? After approximatley 13 years of fighting Hashimoto's disease I am fed up. Up untill 1.5 years ago I only had very casual relationships with all my doctors that never really led to any real solutions. BUT about 1.5 years ago I believe my Thyroid finally "Crashed & Burned" Since then I feel I have given my thyroid so much attention and nurturing on every level with NO FINAL RESULTS. My levels never stay at "normal" and I have every terrible symptom as a result of hypothyroidism including being a rapid-cycle bipolar and other manic/pyschotic symptoms. Q's : Would removing my thyroid gland be appropriate in this situation or do I have to just keep on trying?? Should my doctor have offered me this solution? ANY HELP OR ADVISE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED...
