Howard... You didn't mention any of your other symptoms so it's hard to tell if it could be hyper or hypo! But the important thing that I've learned at least about HYPOthyroidism is that when you have all the classic symptoms, yet your blood test show "within normal range," you could very well have Wilson's Syndrome. (Trouble converting T4 to T3 and chronic low body temps.) Go to your book store and order Dr. Wilson's book on the subject, or check out the Wilson's Syndrome Foundation website. www.wilsonssyndrome.com It has helped me a lot, and I want to get the word out to all those doctors that don't have a clue about this disorder.....that causes so much suffering yet is relatively easy to treat!!!
