: I have had bronchis four times this year already, I am wondering if it is caused by having a low immune system and can taking levoxyl be doing it. Any information on it would be greatly accepected I am so miserable. please help.
I too suffer from bronchitis. I am post RAI for GD 6 yrs. now and have had asthmatic bronchtis and pneumonia so many times that my lungs and heart are permanently damaged. The reason you are having problems with your immune system is thatyou no doubt have a compromised immune system. That is if you are on the thyroid hormone replacement therapy for hypothyroid due to either threatment for Grave's Disease or for Hashimoto's syndrome. These are both auto-immune disorders and effect your immune responses. There is no chance that yourlevoxyl is causing your lung problems. In fact, to stop taking it could be very hazzardous to your health.
