I have just been diagnosed with a tumor in the left side of my thyroid. I;m going for a 2nd opinion. They want to remove the left side.
What happens when they take out half a thyroid? Does you metabolism change. Do you gain or lose weight. Is a goiter the same as a tumor? There is only a 20% chance it is cancer in my case so I am not worried about that. It is not inflamed does not hurt and is barely noticeable. How did you find yours?
