I understand the fear, but be assured that it is better to be hypo than hyper, as hyper can cause a heart atatck, etc, and hypo can be remedied by taking thyroid. It can be uncomfortable to be hypothyroid, but if properly treated, one will be well.
Get a second and even third opinion, regards to how the hyperthyroidism is treated so you feel OK about it.
Be sure to get registered on the new format as this old one will close down.
We want to know how you are doing, and are here for you thru your ordeal.
