Non prescription-drug ways to improve thyroid function?

Hello all,

Don't have heath insurance (or job) and my doc hasn't refilled my Armour prescription, which makes sense...He probably wants to have me do more tests...

But already owe him and am broke. I know yoga can help...any other things (herbs, diet) that you know of that can help an underactive thyroid?
