:I have alot of problems with tmj. I have had this problem for around 18 years now. I have been through 2 special type of mouthguards(one for daytime and one for night time). The night guard does help you stop grinding your teeth. Although, if you have your wisdon teeth, that may be the problem. I still have mine, and they are raised so high that my front teeth do not close at all. I need to have them taken out, but I am afraid to. I have headaches on a daily basis. I also have shoulder and neck pain. does anyone have any suggestions on how to ease the pain without having my wisdom teeth pulled? : I was wondering if this may be my problem. I have alot of headaches on the right side of my head. When you feel my face there is a boney like thing right in front of my ear and when heat is applied it goes down some. I have a headache that goes around to my face, and sharp pains that go up the side of my head. I wake up in the morning and cannot open my mouth sometimes. Any suggestions?
: Yeah, you are clenching your teeth at night. drjimboyd.com
