: : : My dentist is about to make me an NTI splint and I was wondering if it's going to be worth the money??
: : : What does NTI stand for? I have one expensive splint, and am in the process of getting another. I don't know if this is an NTI splint!!!!!!! Is this some kind of special splint or what? Please respond!! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!
: I'm not sure what it stands for but its a splint that fits on the top front two teeth. It's supposed to be better than the traditional splints. It's new and my dentist said he's experimenting the NTI on his patients and so far the results have been promising. I sure hope he's right because I'm tried of taking pain med and muscle relaxers. Let me know if you find out anything more
: thanks amanda
: amanda; my splint covers my whole top teeth. Its hard to talk normal with it, and when I talk alot at work my muscles get tired anyway, and my joints hurt alot by the end of the night. Hope this splint works well for you. If it does let all of us know. Let us know how noticable it is also. I don't like the look of the splints!!!!!!!!!! It so unnatural!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
