If you've read my post below you'll know that I have had little sucess with treatment with dentists so far. I have noticed within the past year my upper teeth have shifted greatly to the right. I am missing an eye tooth (although you would have not noticed too look at me) the back teeth had moved forward and filled most of the spot. Anyway, now my top teeth are shifting, and are off center by almost a whole tooth. My bite is way off too. Does anyone have experience with the orthodontic aspect of treatment of TMJ? I have noticed an orthodontist next to where I work that advertises "TMJ" treatment. Any opinions on this? I need a new dentist, so far none have helped. Can an Orthodontist "specialize" in TMJ and take care of it all? I'm considering going for a consultation but would like to hear input form anyone that could share. I am on no meds right now, uncomfortable all the time, can't eat much, or sleep, have headaches, ear pain....well you know the rest! Thanks and sorry for being sooo long!
