: I have had facial pain and headaches for two years now. It started out as light dizziness and turned into me feeling like I was going to fall over. I started feeling pressure in my nose and in between my eyes and at the base of my skull accompanied by dizziness. Then, my symptoms progressed to pain in the jaw, sensitivity in the teeth, neck and back pain and severe pain in the sinus areas. I've seen every specialist you can think of, and had every test done possible. I'm being told that it's my fault and as soon as I stop being depressed the pain will go away. All tests have been clear. I did get a mouth guard from my dentist three months ago, thinking I had TMJ. Well, the symptoms didn't go away, so the dentist told me he thought the symptoms weren't caused by TMJ. My ENT specialist (who told me it isn't my sinus') told me to see an oral surgeon. So, I went to see another dentist and he basically told me that my mouth guard isn't worth crap... he has to make major adjustments to it. Needless to say, I am very angry at the first dentist for wasting months of my life. I am in bed 5 out of 7 of the days of the week in excruciating pain. I know this is very lengthy, and do apolgize for that. I would like to know if anyone out there has experienced the same symptoms I experience.

: Thanks!

Tania, you are probably clenching your teeth at night when you sleep. I had the same problem. Lightheaded, severe head and neck pain, jaw pain, sensitive teeth, the list goes on. Go to drjimboyd.com. He offers a product that prevents you from clenching, the mouthgaurds just make you clench even more. Good luck!
