TMJ and ARTHROSCOPIC SURGERY

After suffering with all the various pains associated with TMJ, I had an MRI done which showed that both DISCS of my jaw joints were out of position. The discs pressing on the nearby nerves caused the various pains. ARTHROSCOPIC SURGERY TO MOVE THE DISCS BACK INTO POSITION FOLLOWED BY WEEKS OF PHYSICAL THERAPY WAS RECOMMENDED. My question is : Has anyone out there had this kind of surgery and , if so, what were the results ?
