: Hi,
: I've been ill for a couple of months with some wierd symtomps. Ringing in ears and a feeling of pressure in my ears. Pressure accross my forehead (not a head ache but painfull). My teeth ache, normally most in the morning. My jaws cracks when I eat, but not all the time. I've been really tired and sleeping more than normal, and I've been really depressed.

: The strangest thing has happened about 6 times now: when I'm almost asleep I get a sudden pain in my head and ears that kind of pulsates, sometimes with visual images at the same time. I've also been feeling mentally drained, not as sharp as normal. I'm due to have my wisdom teeth removed in the next few months as there isn't enough room for them, could this be the cause? If anyone has any ideas what this could be please let me know.

: Cheers

Hello Loz,
if you haven't already had your teeth pulled I suggest that you see an tmj specialist, maxillofacial surgeon, or at least a dentist and discuss whether it is absolutely necessary that you have your teeth pulled. If it is, request that you have them taken out two at a time (go twice). I promise that all of this will be worth your time because when I had my wisdoms pulled, this caused tmj which I now have to deal with daily. I suspect that if you have slight problems in your tm joints the surgery will only make this much worse.
