I have now had my braces on now going on 2 and a half years and now I'm noticing some popping in my jaw. My orthodontist has diagnosed me with a displaced disc and has given me a device to wear, similar to a splint. It seemed that it has not helped any and I was wondering what and if I should see a specialist?
