My dentist specifically told me that Tylenol won't work because it isn't an anti-inflammatory. I take Advil but it seems that only Advil Cold and Sinus works for me...but I don't have a sinus problem. Weird. I can tell when the Advil is kicking in because my scalp tingles. Weird again.
How much ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) do you guys take?
: It really is too bad that the ibuprophen bothers your stomach because it is a really good anti-inflamitory. You should talk to your doctor perhaps, about some of the newer anti-inflamitories on the market that are designed to lessen problems with the stomach. Perhaps your dentist isn't up on them enough to prescribe them, and they are prescription so you can't get them on your own. Tylenol will not do it, I know, I tried it when I couldn't take ibuprophen for a couple of weeks before some surgery.
