TMJ-Torn Discs

Well I just happened to stumble on to this site today while looking up info on any relation between TMJ and dizziness (this is one of my new symptoms!) And thought heck, I should ask whether anyone has a torn disc! So here I am. Brief history since I am new here. I was in an MVA in 97, walked away with whiplash and foot pain, or so I though. Within 6 months I developed jaw pain. Went to see a doc and he said 'prob TMJ' and sent me off with anti-inflams. It got worse so I pestered everyone I knew. Have seen 3 TMJ specialists and all had diagnosed 'displaced disc' with some 'joint degeneration' Well I had an atrhrogram done and I have a torn disc...this shocked everyone but now I am told 'that's it there is nothing to do' So here I sit...at least I know what is wrong. When going thru symptoms with docs the only one I could not agree to was dizziness, now I get dizzy/light headed often. I am guessing this must be realted to the TMJ but seeing how everything is in place (no displacement and the bones are all 100%) I dunno...anyways...back to the disc...just looking for adivce and where people have been with Torn ones...thanx a bunch (Jodie 24y/o Female TMJ 3yrs)
